I am moving in about a week, so maybe I'll make up some sort of moving/moving on emotionally-related playlist in the coming days.  Since I don't have enough to do with that and starting a new job and blah blah blah.  But for now, here are some random songs.  Like... really random.  I especially recommend the Cure song.  Because it makes me cry (but mostly because I really love The Cure).

new!
"Devil's Haircut," Beck (Odelay, 1996)
"Push," The Cure (The Head on the Door, 1985)
"Patricia's Moving Picture," The Go! Team (Proof of Youth, 2007)
"For Me This Is Heaven," JImmy Eat World (Clarity, 1999)
"Wide Awake," Katy Perry (Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, 2012)
"Midnight City," M83 (Midnight City, 2011)
"Half Dead," The Mountain Goats (Get Lonely, 2006)
"You Get What You Give," New Radicals (Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too, 1998)
"Too Young," Phoenix (United, 2000)
"Put The Days Away," Sun Airway (Nocturne of Exploded Crystal Chandelier, 2010)

Hello, hippies! I'm looking for Bruce Springsteen - I'm On Fire. I've been looking for this song for a while, and I can't find it anywhere (not even the album it's on) and iTunes wants $1.29 for it, which (sorry, Bruce) I'm not willing to pay for a single song. So! If anyone could upload it for me, or point me in the direction where it might be, I would be very happy. <3

Thanks! :)

Hello, music lovers! I've created the latest music-sharing post over at sexy_mood_music. You don't have to join to contribute links because the post will be left open for until the next one goes up. However, you're more than free to join and have a look around at the other stuff offered at the comm, including all manner of graphics. This month's theme is "All About the Benjamins," which is a bit tongue in cheek seeing as how the world seems to be drowning in recession. Think like a baller though, and you might just become one, right? Let's start the positive thinking by sharing any and all songs about getting, making, or spending money. If there's luxury or wealth mentioned in a tune, we'd like to hear it! As always, you may share as many uploads as you please and from as many genres as you can possibly think of!

Here's what I uploaded for January's post:

Madonna - Material Girl
Lonely Island (feat. T-Pain) - I'm On a Boat
Swizz Beatz - Everyday (Coolin')
Rilo Kiley - The Moneymaker
Lady Gaga - Beautiful, Dirty, Rich

However, you're more than free to join and have a look around at the other stuff offered at the comm, including all manner of graphics. Throughout the dog days of summer, there's plenty of partying to be done, but in between the partying, you need to re-energize. So with that in mind, we're looking for songs that you would or do listen to as you fall asleep. Whether you're laying down for a power nap or about to settle in for a whole night's worth of bedtime, we wanna hear the tunes that send you off to Sleepytown. Of course, any and all genres can be included, and if you have anecdotes relating to your song selections, we'd love to hear those, too!
